安全保障・国際問題プログラム

プログラム概要

安全保障・外交政策について高度な知識と専門性、戦略性を併せ持った実務家および研究者を養成する。

 21世紀に入り、グローバル化の進展とともに安全保障や国際関係の概念も従来の定義を超えて拡大し、安全保障・外交政策の課題として考えるべき範囲も拡大しつつあります。また、アジアにおいてもパワーバランスの劇的な変化や情勢の複雑化などに伴い、政治、経済、法律、社会、文化等を踏まえつつ、より戦略的に安全保障・外交上の政策課題に取り組むことが求められています。

 本プログラムは、こうした問題意識の下、防衛省、外務省と連携しつつ、学問と実践、理論と政策の両方に精通し、専門性と戦略性を併せ持った安全保障・外交問題の専門家・実務家を養成することを目的としています。

 本プログラムの修了生は、各国政府、研究機関、国際組織などにおいて指導的な立場に立ち、安全保障・外交問題の専門家として活躍することが期待されています。

対象となる学生

 本プログラムでは、国内外の政界、官界、学界などから広く学生を受け入れます。募集対象は、社会科学分野、特に国際関係、政治学、法学、経済学などの分野の修士号取得者、もしくはそれと同等と見なされる実務経験者となります。
