Training program for Thai KPI
GRIPS conducted training programs for Thai government officials and leaders of business sector, upon the request from King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI) in Thailand.
The delegation visited GRIPS on Jan.25 to attend a lecture on “Japanese Politics in a Changing World” given by Prof. Mikitaka Masuyama, Executive Vice President of GRIPS. He has explained about former Prime Ministers of Japan, political parties and system of election in Japan.
On October 12 and January 31, GRIPS conducted two lectures through the distance learning system. Professors give lectures at GRIPS lecture room and then Thai participants attend the lecture at a conference room in Bangkok. For this time, participants attended the lecture entitled “Creating the Future with Knowledge-based Management and Wise Leadership” given by Prof. Ayano Hirose, Assistant Professor of Rikkyo University and another lecture entitled “Leaders and Managers: Lessons from Experiences of Politics in Japan” provided by Senior Prof. Masahiro Horie, GRIPS.
After their lectures, professors and participants shared opinions about the issues related to Leadership in Japan and Asian countries, as well as the system of leadership development.
