  • GRIPS network environment

The GRIPS network environment takes various and thorough countermeasures against such matters as virus contamination, illegal access-protection, and so on.


  • Wireless LAN Service

Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) Service is available in GRIPS.
You can use the Wi-Fi to browse the internet and send/receive emails in majority of the GRIPS facilities.


  • GRIPS account e-mail addresses

Only one e-mail account is assigned to each individual. Your e-mail account is your ID (in lower-case letters) followed by . You are provided with a mail capacity of 500 MB.

NOTE: If you are storing 500 MB of mail or more, you will not be able to receive new mail.

If you wish to check your e-mail from off campus, you must use SSL-VPN service or set up the mail transfer option on your Web mail menu in advance.


  • Shared PCs

Shared PCs are available in the lecture room A, B, the library, the student lounge and the CPC Language Lab.
Do not save personal data on the shared PCs.
Do not use the shared PCs for purposes other than your research or education.
Please contact the Academic Support Team for the request to change the toner cartridges or to refill the paper.


IT Support Center

The IT Support Center, located on the third floor, is open to all students from 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 20:00 from Monday to Friday except for national holidays. If you have any questions concerning computers, e-mail, Internet connections, etc. at your study room or lecture room A and B, please contact the IT Support Center.
