The 41st “GRIPS-Mansfield Foundation Joint Seminar” was held on April 27, 2017, on the topic of “Keeping the Lights On: An Outsider’s View of Japan’s Energy Policy and Electricity Markets”.

The seminar featured Mr. Benjamin Foster (Mansfield Fellow), Energy Industry Analyst, Division of Policy Development, Office of Energy Policy & Innovation, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, as a speaker and Mr. Hisanori Nei, Professor, National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), as a moderator.
