GRIPS held a three-day training program titled “The Training Program on East Asian Public Sector Leadership Challenges” (EAPSLC) for Thai executives from September 13 to September 15, 2010. The program was developed by GRIPS in response to a request from the Office of the Civil Service Committee（OCSC）of Thailand. GRIPS welcomed 51 senior government officials selected by the Thai government and OCSC staff.

Professor Horie (Director of the Program, Dean of International Affairs), Prof. Ota (Vice President of GRIPS), Prof. Okazaki (Professor of GRIPS), and Prof. Tanaka (Emeritus Professor of Takushoku University) gave lectures.

They visited the House of Representatives and the House of Councilors. They paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Ryoji Fukui, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and had a chance to visit the Press Conference Room.

On the last day of the training program, they had a wrap-up session presided over by Prof. Horie. At the completion ceremony, each participant received a certificate of completion of the course from Prof. Horie.
