GRIPS had a two month training program from Apr 1 to May 31, 2017 in response to the request from National Development Council (NDC), Taiwan.

One official of NDC has attended the program this year.Along with attending some of GRIPS regular courses and special lectures, he conducted research on “Digital Economy” in Japanese. The research activity was supported by Vice-President Prof. Kiyotaka Yokomichi and Dr. Michael C. Huang, Post-Doctoral Fellow of SciREX Center as well as other professors and experts of the field.

He has completed the training program by writing and presenting his respective research paper in Japanese.
