On September 8, 2015, GRIPS conducted a lecture through our distance learning system, which has been implemented in 2014 between GRIPS and KPI (King Prajadhipok’s Institute) in Thailand, for 30 Thai local government executives who are attending the training program “Certificate Course on Local Leadership in Global Context” run by KPI. 

Participants attended a lecture entitled “Local Government Merger and Cooperation: Japanese Experience” given by Prof. Kiyotaka Yokomichi (vice-president of GRIPS).
