The Training Program for “Governance / Corruption Prevention” – Bangladesh 2015

GRIPS conducted a Training Program on good governance and anti corruption at the request of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) between June 8 and June 12, 2015. The Secretary, two additional Secretaries of Cabinet Division of Bangladesh Government, and other exective members related to Anti Corruption Commission of Bangladesh participated in the program.

 

During the program, the participants had a chance to hear lectures on the Japanese government system, which were given by Senior Professor and Director of the Executive Development Center for Global Leadership Masahiro Horie. They had a briefing on Administrative Inspection, Policy Evaluation, Administrative Counselling, Administrative Complaint Review Act, and Information Disclosure Laws from the Directors of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC).

And they also visited the National Personnel Authorities to have a briefing on the National Public Service Ethics Board.

 

On the final day, Senior Professor Horie presided over a summary session. The Bangladesh deligation looked back the good training program and raised motivation for the continued training in Bangladesh.
