It was a great honor for GRIPS to have the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono give the Commencement Speech on the occasion of the 2015 Fall Graduation Ceremony. Held Thursday 17 September, 2015, Professor Yudhoyono delivered the address to 176 GRIPS graduates from 50 countries around the globe. He also took the time to thank GRIPS President and Professor Takashi Shiraishi for the invitation, noting their long-term friendship.

After the ceremony, Prof. Yudhoyono and Mdm. Yudhoyono also held a ‘meet and greet’ with the Indonesian cohort of graduates and students, listening to their hopes and dreams for the future – an experience the graduates will no doubt ever forget.
