A magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit Nepal on April 25, 2015. On April 30 and May 1, GRIPS International Student Council conducted fund raising activities at GRIPS.

The event attracted many supporters, both from within the GRIPS community and from the neighborhood. The students collected ¥759,061 in donated funds.

The funds have been donated to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
