From 15 to 16 December 2014, GRIPS received visits from Professor Al-Assadi, President of Mustansiriyah University, and Iraqi delegation composed of four professors in charge of Japanese and Asian Studies at Universities in Bagdad.

Taking this occasion, President Shiraishi discussed about the possibility of cooperative relationship between GRIPS and educational institutes in Iraq including students’ cultural exchanges in future.
