In response to a request by the Japanese Language Institute, Kansai of Japan Foundation, GRIPS conducted a half-day training program on April 3, 2014 at GRIPS .

In this program, GRIPS welcomed 39 trainees from 35 countries who are foreign-service officers or and public officials. The delegation received a lecture by Professor Jun Iio about the reconstruction of Japan.
