On May 19, 2014, GRIPS held the Seventh GRIPS International Friendship Concert.

The purpose of this concert was to provide an opportunity for GRIPS students to get acquainted with Minato residents to promote ties with the local community as well as to enjoy marvelous Italian music.

The concert featured Mr. Takahiro Seki, a world-renowned pianist and the recipient of the prestigious Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. Mr. Seki performed many well-known piano pieces and talked about the history of Italian music.

A reception was held following the concert where GRIPS students and guests enjoyed an opportunity to communicate and get to know each other.
