The second “GRIPS-Mansfield Foundation Joint Seminar” was held on April 16, 2008 on the topic of “Japan’s Financial Diplomacy and Its Implication to the United States.”

GRIPS invited Mr. R. Logan Sturm (Mansfield Fellow), International Economist, International Affairs /Office of International Trade in the US Department of the Treasury, as a speaker and Dr. James R. Rhodes, Professor of GRIPS, as a moderator.
