At the 48th GRIPS Forum on May 23, 2011, Ambassador Yukio Takasu, Special Advisor to the UN Secretary General on Human Security, professor (special assignment) of GRIPS, gave a lecture entitled “Human Security and Japan.” In this forum, he talked about the concept of human security and Japan’s role in promoting it. In the Q&A session, there were so many questions from the audience that Ambassador Takasu was not able to answer all of them.
