H.E. Mr. Jorma Julin, Ambassador of Finland to Japan, gave a presentation titled andldquo;A Glance at the Finnish Success Story in the Era of Globalization – Key policy choices and public policiesandrdquo;. Ambassador Julin explained the process in which Finland rose from an agricultural-based small country to a wealthy post-industrial country with economic and competitive power. Ambassador Julin finished the lecture with his insights on sustainable growth strategies which inspired an active Qandamp;A session. The lecture was the eighth in a series of fora that feature leaders from government, academia, and business, as well as GRIPSandrsquo; own faculty to discuss current policy concerns.
