- Professional Career
He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Harvard University. He has formerly taught at Princeton University, Aoyama Gakuin University, and the University of Tokyo. He has been a pre-doctoral fellow at Brookings Institution, a visiting scholar at University of California, Berkeley, and an academic associate in the Program on U.S.-Japan Relations at Harvard University.
