- Professional Career
Graduated from the Faculty of Law, Department of Political Science, Keio University in 1989. Joined the Development Bank of Japan in April of the same year, engaging in loan operations in areas such as logistics, food, and promotion of foreign direct investment in Japan, as well as public relations. From 2001 to 2006, served as head of administration at the Asia-Pacific Research Center, Stanford University, overseeing finance, human resources, and general operations. Between 2011 and 2016, was actively involved in the management of a nonprofit foundation that provided financial support to a local elementary school, serving as Treasurer and later as President. After returning to Japan in 2020, joined the Research Management Office at the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo, supporting budget requests, the launch of new research projects, and fundraising.
