The 4th FPCI-GRIPS Public Forum “Climate Policy Post-COP 26: What’s Next?”

GRIPS is collaborating with FPCI (Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia) in convening the FPCI-GRIPS Public Forum, a monthly discussion series where experts and policy makers can discuss the most pressing issues of international affairs and foreign policy with researchers and students across Southeast Asia and Japan.

At the forth forum, we will focus on global environmental problems.

The 26th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 26) was held in Glasgow,United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from October to November 2021. COP26 came out with ”the Glasgow Climate Pact” where countries are urged to strengthen their climate pledges by the end of 2022.

We will discuss how we can encourage countries to develop and adopt the needed progressive approach in responding to climate change. How do we ensure countries stay on track with their climate commitment? What lies ahead after the COP-26?

Please join us and watch the forum!
