The AI Skilling Training, “Human-Centered AI Workshop,” was held in collaboration with Microsoft.
On October 24, 2025, GRIPS hosted the training, “Human-Centered AI Workshop” in partnership with Microsoft. This training was part of our ongoing collaboration to enhance AI-related skills and knowledge. It was conducted by Ms. Brittany Arthur from Design Thinking Japan, who helps organizations understand AI's strategic impact, evaluate implementation opportunities, and lead informed governance conversations through their human centered programs. They develop and build solutions for Fortune 100 companies across APAC.
During the training, participants were introduced to human-centered AI frameworks that ensure the technology serves people through fostering ethical, inclusive, and practical approach, which has been successfully implemented in over 40 countries. As future policy leaders, the participants gained valuable insights into strategic thinking and governance in AI utilization through structured AI thinking.
Feedback from participants included praise for practical elements such as “how to write prompts” and “decision tree models.” Many shared that they gained clarity on “the difference between tasks suited for AI and those that are not,” and appreciated the perspective that “AI is an assistant, not a replacement.” The training provided a meaningful learning experience that participants felt would benefit their future careers.
Subsequently, participants who completed the training received a certificate jointly issued by Microsoft and GRIPS.
