A delegation from Taiwan Supreme Public Prosecutors Office, headed by Prosecutor General Mr. Hsing Tai Chao, visited GRIPS on October 29, 2024. The visit by the delegation was made possible after Mr. Kentaro Furuya of the Maritime Safety and Security Policy Program participated in a symposium organized by the Taiwan Supreme Public Prosecutors Office.

During the visit, the Furuya delegation and GRIPS attendees including Executive Vice-President Narushige Michishita engaged in a lively exchange of views regarding the realization of a free and open Indo-Pacific and the maintenance of international order in the oceans.
