On September 26, 11 students in the Public Finance Program Customs Course paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Kazuhiko Ejima, Director-General and Mr. Yojiro Uchino, Deputy Director-General of the Customs and Tariff Bureau, Ministry of Finance

On 27th September, they visited the Customs Training Institute (CTI) in Kashiwa City, Chiba prefecture.

Beginning with a courtesy call to Mr. Shigetoshi Aoyama, Managing Director of CTI, the students received an overview of Japan Customs from the instructor and had the opportunity to exchange views. Subsequent to the CTI, the students visited the adjacent Central Customs Laboratory (CCL).

The students paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Akihisa Ishida, Director General of CCL, received an overview of the CCL, and participated in an observation tour of the facility.
