The ninth Asian Statesmen’s Forum was held during August 20-21, 2010 in Bangkok, Thailand.  Dr. Surin Pitsuwan, Secretary-General of ASEAN Secretariat, assumed the role of local host for this Forum.  All participants were invited to a dinner hosted by the mayor of Bangkok city.
At this seminar, “Security in Asia”, “ASEAN development strategy” and “Sustainability for the future of Asia” were some of the topics discussed.
