The 38th “GRIPS-Mansfield Foundation Joint Seminar” was held on January 26, 2017, on the topic of “Similar Goals, Different Approaches:Contrasting the U.S. and Japan’s Federal Fisheries Science and Management”.

The seminar featured Ms. Siri Hakala (Mansfield Fellow), Biologist, NOAA Fisheries, Department of Commerce, as a speaker and  Dr. Fumihiro Kabuta, Professor of GRIPS, as a moderator.
