  • GRIPS network environment

GRIPS is maintaining a network to provide a fulfilling research and education environment.

 

  • Wireless LAN service

GRIPS provides wireless LAN service. Wireless LAN is available almost everywhere on campus, allowing you to browse homepages, read and send/receive emails.

This Wi-Fi adopts the latest security standard (WPA3-Personal). It may not be available for some devices manufactured before June 2020.

WPA2 is not available to ensure a secure network environment for users.

If you don’t have a device that supports WPA3-Personal, please bring your own mobile router or a wireless LAN adapter that supports WPA3-Personal.


  • GRIPS mail

All students are provided with an email account at GRIPS.

Sending and receiving emails are available using a cloud service (Microsoft 365) from a web browser (Edge, etc.).

Accessing GRIPS email account from off campus is available.


  • Shared PCs

There are shared PCs in lecture room A, CPC language lab and the library.

Do not save any personal data on shared PCs. Also, do not use it for purposes other than research and learning.

Please contact the Academic Support Team for papers or toners.


IT Support Center

IT Support Center maintains the campus network environment and provides support for computer operations.

Business hour: Mon-Fri 9:00-18:00
Service: Problems when using computers, campus networks, shared PCs, etc.
*Please note that personally owned PCs are not eligible for support.
