The 14th “GRIPS-Mansfield Foundation Joint Seminar” was held on June 30, 2010, on the topic of “Transportation Strategies for an Aging Population: Approaches in the United States and Japan.”

The seminar featured Ms. Elizabeth Machek (Mansfield Fellow), Community Planner, Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, Research and Innovative Technology Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation, as a speaker and Dr. Naohiko Hibino, an Associate Professor at GRIPS, as a moderator.
