Special Lecture by H.E. Dr. Tej Bunnag
On November 20th, 2008, GRIPS invited H.E. Dr. Tej Bunnag, who was the former Foreign Minister of Thailand and is currently the Assistant Secretary General of Thai Red Cross.
Dr. Tej gave a special lecture entitled “His Majesty the King of Thailand and Development” in which he explained why King Bhumibol Adulyadej is called the “Developer King”. He presented various examples of Royal Development Projects that were initiated by the King whose principle was self-supporting economy, not “to be a tiger”.
