The fourth “GRIPS-Mansfield Foundation Joint Seminar” was held on June 12, 2008, on the topic of “An Insider View on U.S. and Japanese Policy towards the Asia Pacific.”

Mr. William R. Golike, International Trade Specialist, Office of the Pacific Basin, International Trade Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce, and Ms. Dawn N. Kawasaki, International Trade Specialist, Manufacturing and Services/ Office of Materials and Machinery, International Trade Administration, both Mansfield Fellows, spoke at the seminar. Ms. Izumi Ohno, a GRIPS Professor, moderated the seminar.
