Abstract:
The social and economic situation in the world is growing ever more complex with the advance of globalization, and as a result the policy challenges of governments are also becoming more difficult and complex. Southeast Asian countries are no exception. Their governments are trying a variety of innovative approaches to capacity building of both leaders and organizations.
In that unfolding scenario, since 2016 JICA and GRIPS have conducted the LEADING Asia project, a knowledge co-creation project, in cooperation with public organizations from Southeast Asian countries.
In this year’s forum, we proudly invite Prof. Ikujiro Nonaka, the father of Knowledge Creation Theory, as the key presenter, as well as leaders of Asian countries to introduce the LEADING Asia project and share their experience so as to develop effective approaches to innovation in capacity building of both leaders and organizations towards the future of Asian Countries.
