The National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies has been selected to receive funding from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) to support Japanese universities in extending their global reach.
GRIPS was selected for the “CAMPUS Asia” Program to support the formation of an academic consortium of universities among Japan, China and Korea. The consortium members carry out student exchange programs for credit transfers and degree conferrals that meet global academic standards.
GRIPS is a part of the Northeast Asian Consortium for Policy Studies along with the School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) and the KDI School of Public Policy and Management (Seoul, Korea). The program plans to exchange 120 students during FY2012–2015.
