New Publication: Introducing KAIZEN in Africa
(09Nov2009) Introducing KAIZEN in Africa was published, in which  Prof. K. Ohno's co-paper "Introduction" is included. Kaizen literally means improvement: change (kai) for good (zen), that is applicable not only to the manufacturing sector but also to other sectors, and organizations.
This book aims to introduce the basic concept and characteristics of kaizen to African audience and explain how Japan has implemented kaizen assistance in developing countries, etc.

 1) Mr. Giang Thanh Long receives PhD and goes back home.
 2) Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh (PhD student, Waseda Univ.) and Mr. Pham Thai Son (Master student, APPP, Hitotsubashi Univ.) join and become our core member.

(09-2008) Ms. Le Thuy Duong (Waseda Univ.) has joined us as a volunteer since January 2008. She is currently back in Hanoi.
(06-2007) Mr. Vu Hoang Nam (GRIPS) and Mr Tran Hoai Vu (Waseda Univ.) have joined us as core-members of VDF-Tokyo since May 2007.
(03-2007) Mr. Pham Truong Hoang, our long-time core member, receives PhD and finally goes back home in Hanoi after the 7-year stay in Japan.
