Interest:
Comparative study of industrialization strategies of latecomer economies in the contemporary world. Studied over 25 economies and their governments in Asia and Africa. In cooperation with the Japanese government, has deeply and continuously been involved in pragmatic policy advice in Vietnam (since 1995) and Ethiopia (since 2008).
