It has been such a memorable experience to study in GRIPS. The professors, staff, fellow students here are extremely nice. I got the home-feeling just several days after I arrived Tokyo.
The courses are very helpful. I learn about women’s importance for economic development in the Gender and Development by Professor Estudillo. And I explore more about the trade model in International Trade by Professor Hsu. I got the chance to know about Japanese government system, in Local Government Finance by Professor Takada. At the same time, learning English in Japan gives me new inspiration from Communication in Public Settings by Mr. Elwood. Last but not least, Comparative Development Studies of Asia by Professor Kawano let me know the political and economic situation in Southeast Asia, where I barely have knowledge before. It helps me a lot. And Professor Kawano treats us like her own children.
The off-class activities also leave me many good memories. I made a lot of friends here from the welcoming parties set by the student council, where the members did such a nice job. I got to know the Japanese culture better from the activities set by student office. I especially felt the warmth and dedication from the global classmates in the fund raising event for the earthquake occurred in Nepal.
So unwilling to say goodbye, but I have to leave. This is such a nice experience. I wish all the best to my friends here. I will remember you all by my heart.
