Hiromi Murakami
Hiromi Murakami is a visiting Senior Fellow at Global Health Innovation Policy Program at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS). Prior to joining GRIPS, she’s involved in various policy projects in US/Japanese institutions, including Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Global Health Policy Center, the Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI), Economic Strategy Institute, and the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies. Her expertise includes state-industrial relations, US-Japan economic relations, and global health policies. Murakami is also an Adjunct Fellow at Global Health Policy Center of CSIS and Senior Fellow at the Economic Strategy Institute. She taught courses at GRIPS and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C. She holds an M.B.A. from St. Mary’s College and a Ph.D. in international relations from the School of Advanced International Studies at the Johns Hopkins University.
