Message to Incoming Students from GRIPS President
Dear Incoming Students,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to GRIPS this coming fall term. I am writing to assure you that GRIPS will deliver all classes as scheduled to all of our students, by every suitable means in this difficult and challenging time. In the event that you cannot come to Japan physically for any Covid19 related reason, we will provide on-line classes. If you are in Japan, we will provide classroom lectures—or perhaps a hybrid class in both face to face and remote formats. Either way, we will make sure that you receive your GRIPS education as promised, along with the guidance offered by our university.
Needless to say, we hope you will be able to come to Japan as soon as the situation allows, since studying at GRIPS is not simply a matter of gaining knowledge and new skills, but also involves the benefit of interacting with colleagues from all over the world, and of getting to know the culture of Japan through direct experience.
Our faculty members and staff, along with your fellow students currently studying at GRIPS, all look forward to seeing you in person. Please rest assured that we are prepared to provide you with a GRIPS education regardless of your whereabouts. I look forward to meeting you. Until then, please take care and stay safe.
