GRIPS implemented the Workshop Program for 15 Officials from the Office of the Council of State (OCS) Thailand from September 17 to September 20, 2019.

In the program, participants attended a series of lectures given by Professor Emeritus Masahiro Horie (Director of Executive Development Center for Global Leadership) and Associate Professor Ayumi Kubo (GRIPS). Subjects of lectures include Public Sector Organization Management, Public Sector Human Resource Management, Systems for Good Relations between Government and People, Good Governance / Administrative Reform and Innovation, Policy Making, Public Sector Leaders and Leadership.

For the site visits, participants visited National Personnel Authority to learn about Anti-Corruption Measures and Public Service Work Discipline and Ethics Management, and Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications to learn about the recent comprehensive amendment of the Administrative Complaint Review Act.

As for the final event, Professor Emeritus Masahiro Horie gave a supplementary lecture including Q&A session. Each participant made a presentation on what they learned on the program, and what they are interested in to adopt in Thailand. Certificate of Completion was awarded to each participant at the completion ceremony on the last day.
