The 50th “GRIPS-Mansfield Foundation Joint Seminar” was held on March 22, 2019, on the topic of “How Increased Natural Disasters are Forcing Weather Agencies to Evolve”.

The seminar featured Mr. Ian Morrison(Mansfield Fellow), Incident Meteorologist, National Weather Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), as a speaker and Mr. Kenichi Konya, Professor, Executive Adviser, GRIPS Alliance, National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), as a moderator.
