The 49th “GRIPS-Mansfield Foundation Joint Seminar” was held on March 5, 2019, on the topic of “Risk-informed Regulatory Approaches in the U.S.”.

The seminar featured Mr. Tony Nakanishi (Mansfield Fellow), Risk Analyst, Office of New Reactors, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, as a speaker and Mr. Hisanori Nei, Professor, National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), as a moderator.
