The 31st “GRIPS-Mansfield Foundation Joint Seminar” was held on March 19, 2015, on the topic of “Idealism and Realpolitik – The Dual Nature of U.S. Overseas Assistance”.

The seminar featured Mr. Ariel Wyckoff (Mansfield Fellow), U.S. Department of State, Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, as a speaker and Prof. Masaei Matsunaga, Professor of GRIPS, as a moderator.
