A symposium titled “Born Global – Japanese Ventures on the Map Symposium 2014″ was held at GRIPS on Monday, February 24, 2014. The symposium was jointly organized by Ministry of Economics, Trade and Industry (METI), Venture Enterprise Center, Japan (VEC), and GRIPS and examined elements of investment climate that support startups eying the global market.

Three Japanese startups with great potential that are developing their business outside of Japan were also invited to speak about funding and support they receive and challenges they face. The event was concluded with great success.
