Training Programs for King Prajadhipok Institute (KPI) in Thailand
GRIPS conducted training programs in response to a request from the King Prajadhipok Institute (KPI) in Thailand. Sessions took place on December 13th, 2010 for national parliament members,high-ranking officials in the government and executives of private companies in Thailand.
On December 13th, 36 trainees headed by Associate Professor Woothisarn Thanchai (Deputy Secretary General of KPI) visited GRIPS and attended a lecture on “Local Autonomy in Japan” by Professor Kiyotaka Yokomichi in the morning, and visited Saitama Prefecture in the afternoon. At Saitama Prefecture, they visited prefectural police communications command room and attended a lecture about Saitama Prefectural Administration given by officials of Saitama Prefecture.
