In response to a request by the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Japan, GRIPS conducted a half-day training program on January 27, 2010 for Vietnamese representatives.

　The 12 member delegation, accompanied by Mr. Hoang Chi Bao, Senior Expert, Secretary of the Central Theory Council of the Central Executive Committee of Communist Party, visited GRIPS and attended lectures given by Prof. Horie (on Policy issues in Japan) and Prof. Kakiuchi(on Cultural issues in Japan). The Q & A session was quite active on the policy making process in Japan.
