At the GRIPS Forum held on December 1, 2008, H.E. Mr. Jorma Julin, Ambassador of Finland to Japan, gave a presentation titles “A Glance at the Finnish Success Story in the Era of Globalization —Key policy choices and public policies.”

Ambassador Julin explained the process in which Finland rose from an agricultural-based small country to a wealthy post-industrial country with economic and competitive power.

Ambassador Julin finished the lecture with his insights on sustainable growth strategies which inspired an active Q&A session.
