The 5th GRIPS Forum held on “Future Prospects of the Japanese Economy-Taking Stocks of the Koizumi, Abe, Fukuda’s Economic Policies.”

At the GRIPS Forum on October 27, 2008, Ms Hiroko Ota, Professor of GRIPS, former Minister of State for Economic and Fiscal Policy, gave a lecture on “Future Prospects of the Japanese Economy —Taking Stocks of the Koizumi, Abe, Fukuda’s Economic Policies.” Ms. Ota presented her lessons and suggestions for Japanese economy which must strengthen its competitiveness and address its structural issues, based on the experiments as a Minister.
The lecture was the fifth in the series of forums that feature leaders from government, academia, and business, as well as GRIPS’ own faculty to discuss current policy concerns.
