Abstract

Recently, ocean acidification has been closed up as another CO2 problem and one of global environmental stressors. The dissolution of atmospheric CO2 with seawater reduces pH and carbonate ions, therefore it is urgently required to know the affection of ocean acidification for marine calcifying organisms for conservation of marine ecosystems. Dr. Harada will talk about what is ocean acidification and its potential impact on marine organisms.
