At the 59th GRIPS Forum entitled “Japan’s Political Future” held on January 16 2012. GRIPS invited two members of the House of Representatives, Mr. Shigeru Ishiba (LDP), Mr. Katsuya Okada (DPJ）and Prof. Iio(GRIPS), served as the moderator. In this forum, they discussed about earthquake disaster reconstruction, respond to the financial crisis in Europe or financial reconstruction. The forum gathered much interest, and the large audience included domestic and international students, journalists, diplomacy corps in Japan and the general public as well as people from embassies..
