At the 46th GRIPS Forum on April 25, 2011, Mr. Yoshiharu Fukuhara, Honorary Chairman of Shiseido Company, Limited, gave a lecture entitled “Japanese Culture and Mécénat Activities”. In this forum, he talked about the influence of culture and cultural history in Japan from his own diverse and deep perspective. Audience members said afterwards, “His lecture offered perspectives about the influence of culture that are completely new to us,” and “We learned the meaning of mécénat activities’ for enterprise through his lecture, and it was very fruitful.”
