At the 20th GRIPS Forum, GRIPS invited Dr. Junhua Wu, Director of The Japan Research Institute, Ltd., to deliver a lecture on andldquo;China Outlook: the Present Economic Situation and the Possibility of Democratizationandrdquo;. Dr. Wu said that, at present, China looks like it is flourishing from the outside with remarkable economic development, however internally, China has many problems and will have to move quickly to deal with these. There were many questions raised during the Qandamp;A session that showed the participantsandrsquo; high interest in China.
