Ms Hiroko Ota, Professor of GRIPS, former Minister of State for Economic and Fiscal Policy, gave a lecture on andldquo;Future Prospects of the Japanese Economyandmdash;Taking Stocks of the Koizumi, Abe, Fukuda’s Economic Policies.andrdquo; Ms. Ota presented her lessons and suggestions for Japanese economy which must strengthen its competitiveness and address its structural issues, based on the experiments as a Minister. The lecture was the fifth in a series of forum that feature leaders from government, academia, and business, as well as GRIPSandrsquo; own faculty to discuss current policy concerns.
