b) For Embassy of Japan (Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship): government officials and senior students who are planning careers as government officials.
c) Pre-and early-career officials and staff members in local or national governments, international organizations and private companies.
a) For ADB-JSP scholarships: under 36 years of age as of April 1, 2012
b) For Embassy of Japan (Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship): under 35 years of age as of April 1, 2012

b) For Embassy of Japan (Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship): citizens of those countries with which Japan has established diplomatic relations.
